Overview

Join Verdant Care Partners as a Personal Support Worker, providing compassionate, personalized care to clients in their own homes across York Region. You'll support seniors and individuals with day-to-day needs while helping them maintain independence, dignity, and comfort at home.

Duties

- Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
- Support safe transfers and repositioning
- Prepare meals tailored to individual dietary needs
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Support clients with dementia or cognitive decline using patience and consistent routines
- Perform light housekeeping (tidying, laundry, maintaining a safe home environment)
- Document care visits accurately and communicate any changes or concerns

Requirements

- PSW certification required
- Valid CPR/First Aid certification




- Clean Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC), or willingness to obtain one
- Reliable transportation to travel between client homes in York Region
- Prior experience with seniors or in-home care preferred
- Experience with dementia or cognitive decline an asset

What we don't do No medication administration or wound care — this role is focused on personal care, companionship, and daily living support.

Pay: $22.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 20.0 per week
