Duties

- Assist customers in selecting the right pet supplies, including food, toys, accessories, and health products
- Conduct engaging product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits of various pet items
- Provide personalized advice on pet nutrition, grooming, and care routines based on customer needs
- Maintain organized merchandising displays to highlight new products and promotions effectively
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for transactions including cash handling and credit payments
- Upsell complementary products to enhance the customer’s purchase experience and increase sales
- Ensure cleanliness and safety standards are upheld in the pet section at all times

Skills





- Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers and their pets
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve a broad customer base effectively
- Previous retail sales or customer service experience is preferred; familiarity with merchandising and POS systems is a plus
- Knowledge of pet products, basic math skills for cash handling, and cashiering experience are advantageous
- Strong organizational skills to manage product displays and stock levels efficiently
- Time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours while maintaining high service standards
- Professional phone etiquette for responding to inquiries promptly and courteously
- Ability to educate customers about product features through demos and transparent explanations
