Coaldale Pharmasave is a locally owned community pharmacy serving Coaldale and Area. We are looking for a staff pharmacist for 24-40 hours per week. We are open 8:30 am to 6:00 pm from Monday to Friday, and from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on Saturday. This job does not require any evenings, Sundays or Holidays.

The position is flexible – Part time or Full Time starting as early as mid September.

Responsibilities:

- Deliver clinical services such as medication reviews, chronic disease management and care plan development.
- Administer vaccines and immunizations
- Determine appropriateness of drug therapy and monitor for effectiveness, side effects, and interactions
- Counsel patients on prescriptions, over-the-counter products, and health-related topics, including indications, contraindication, side effects,



and proper usage and storage
- Ensure compliance with all federal, provincial, and regulatory standards governing pharmacy practice
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
- Assist with daily pharmacy operations and perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

- Licensed and in good standing with the Alberta College of Pharmacy
- Injection certification is required
- Additional Prescribing Authorization preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to thrive in a team environment
