Full-Time Pharmacy Technician (Permanent)

Schedule: Monday–Friday (Day shift 9 AM-5 PM) | Rotating Saturdays (10 AM–2 PM) with a weekday off | No evenings, no Sundays

Hours: 36–40 hours per week

Start Date: Immediate (Within 2 weeks of hire)

The Opportunity:

We are seeking a motivated, licensed Pharmacy Technician who wants to utilize and expand their full scope of practice on a daily basis. In this role, you will work collaboratively with our pharmacy team to deliver exceptional care to our community and group home clients. Key Responsibilities:

- Scope of Practice:



Perform full-scope duties in strict accordance with Alberta College of Pharmacy (ACP) standards.
- Prescription Management: Assess prescriptions for completeness, ensure absolute accuracy, and manage client data entry.
- Dispensing & Preparation: Prepare client medications and collaborate with pharmacists on daily dispensary operations.
- Compliance Packaging: Verify prescriptions, check PACMED pouches, and organize medication delivery batches for group homes.

What You Bring

- Licensure: Regulated Pharmacy Technician with an active ACP license (2+ years of experience is an asset).
- Technical Expertise: Robust working knowledge of Kroll software and the PacMed System.
