Asset Protection Representative (APR) – Victoria, Shoppers Drug Mart.ResponsibilitiesDeter, detect and apprehend theft and fraud within retail locations; compile and present evidence for court or arbitration.Collaborate with other APRs to investigate provincial or national Organized Retail Crime (ORC) cases when they arise.Collaborate regularly with the local police service.Detect and identify potential shrink opportunities within operational core compliance.Build and maintain partnerships with Associate-Owners and their teams by communicating and providing training on Asset Protection policies and procedures.Assist Associate-Owners and teams with incident de‑escalation.Participate in community events.Work a variety of shifts including days, evenings, nights, overnights and weekends (40‑hour work week).Required Skills, Qualifications & ExperienceValid Provincial Security Guard License.Basic understanding of the Criminal Code of Canada, Trespass to Property Act, Powers of Arrest, CCTV and/or surveillance systems, and working knowledge of Windows applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).Professional,



friendly and approachable demeanor.High degree of initiative and integrity to succeed in a agile environment.Strong collaborative skills and willingness to support Associate-Owners.Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.Compensation & BenefitsPay rate: $22.00 per hour.
