We are seeking a highly skilled and independent Senior Formulation Chemist to lead formulation development activities within our Drug Product Operations team. In this role, you will take ownership of projects from early development through GMP manufacturing, playing a critical role in delivering high-quality oral dosage products.You will drive formulation and process development, scale-up, and technology transfer, while also providing oversight of GMP production activities. As a senior team member, you will serve as a scientific leader—collaborating cross-functionally, supporting client engagements, and contributing to business development initiatives.This is an ideal role for an experienced qualified who combines deep technical expertise with leadership, problem-solving, and client-facing capabilities.Key Highlights:Lead and independently execute formulation and drug product development activitiesDesign and oversee formulation studies, process development, and GMP scale-upProvide oversight and technical leadership for GMP manufacturing operationsAuthor and review protocols, batch records, SOPs, and technical reportsTroubleshoot complex formulation and process challenges, driving continuous improvementRepresent Drug Product Operations in client meetings and technical discussionsSupport Business Development with technical expertiseEnsure full compliance with cGMP, GLP, SOPs,



and safety standardsQualificationsYears of Experience: 6-10 yearsEducation: min. BS or above in relevant Engineering or Science based fieldSystems:Excel, Word, statistics-based programsSoft Skills: strong written and communications skills – candidate will be client facing; strong Leadershipskills/ability to manage junior formulatorsThe starting annual base compensation for this position is $90,000 CAD.
