ReBounce Physio is a rehabilitation clinic that provides one-on-one physiotherapy, massage therapy, acupuncture and kinesiology services to support clients in returning to their pre-injury level of function. Role Description The Physiotherapist will provide one-on-one, client-centered physiotherapy services, including assessment, treatment planning, and delivery of evidence-based interventions.
Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting thorough physical assessments, developing personalized rehabilitation programs, implementing manual therapy and exercise-based treatments, and monitoring client progress. The role also involves maintaining accurate clinical documentation, educating clients on injury prevention and self-management strategies, and collaborating with massage therapists and kinesiologists to optimize outcomes. This is an independent contractor role located in our brand new flagship clinic in Olympic Village.
Qualifications
- Licensure and education: Registered or eligible for registration as a Physiotherapist in British Columbia; completed an accredited Physiotherapy degree program
- Clinical expertise: Strong skills in orthopedic and musculoskeletal assessment, manual therapy, therapeutic exercise prescription, and rehabilitation program design.
- Client care and communication: Ability to build rapport, deliver clear explanations of treatment plans, and provide empathetic, culturally sensitive care to diverse clients.
- Interdisciplinary collaboration: Comfortable working closely with massage therapists, kinesiologists, and other health professionals to coordinate comprehensive treatment.
- Professional skills: Solid clinical documentation abilities, time management, attention to detail, and commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development.
- Technology and administration: Competence with electronic medical records, scheduling systems, and basic clinic administration tasks as needed.
- Additional assets: Experience in private practice or rehabilitation settings, familiarity with sports injuries, and willingness to participate in community outreach or client education initiatives.
