Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble pizza ingredients with precision, ensuring freshness and quality in every dish
- Cook pizzas to perfection using ovens, monitoring temperature and cooking times for optimal results
- Handle food safely by following proper sanitation procedures and adhering to food safety regulations
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, portioning toppings, and dough stretching
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including equipment, utensils, and work surfaces
- Serve customers efficiently by taking orders accurately and providing friendly service during meal times
- Support the team in managing inventory levels of ingredients and supplies to ensure smooth operations
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments for 1 to 3 years is highly preferred
- Familiarity with food handling practices and safety standards within the food industry
- Hands-on experience with meal preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen equipment operation
- Strong understanding of food safety protocols to maintain hygiene and prevent cross-contamination
- Background in serving customers efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude
- Knowledge of pizza making processes including dough handling, topping placement, and baking techniques
