We work together to care for the whole person from hospital to home.We are looking for aRegistration Clerkto work with ourER RegistrationDepartment to help us continue in our mission to serve our community with Kindness, Accountability, Respect, and Teamwork.Position ResponsibilitiesThe successful applicant will perform the duties expected of a Registration Clerk within ER Registration Department.The Registration/Booking Clerk is accountable and responsible for the general and specialized duties required to support the daily activities of patient registrations and bookings.QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalentCurrent or recent clerical experience in a healthcare setting or completion of medical administration diploma program from community collegeKnowledge of Medical Terminology (skill testing will be required or College transcript with minimum 80% mark for medical terminology course)Recent experience with patient registrations is requiredExperience with Meditech admissions community wideWell-developed keyboarding/computer skills with a minimum keyboarding speed of 45 wpmExcellent communication skills and interpersonal skills dealing with both internal and external clientsAbility to work collaboratively with physicians and other allied health professionals in a very dynamic fast paced work environmentAbility to multi-task and work with a minimum of supervision.
