In this role, you’ll be responsible for diagnosing and repairing a variety of construction equipment, including earth-moving, compaction, aerial, and forklift machinery. This is a permanent opportunity for someone who works well independently, has strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills, and enjoys a fast-paced, on-the-go work environment. Based out of Etobicoke, you’ll primarily be on the road responding to client service calls. and repairs on a wide range of construction equipment including earth-moving, compaction, aerial lifts (telehandlers, boom lifts, scissor lifts), and forkliftsPerform diagnostics and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues to identify root causesCarry out scheduled preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifeTest the machinery post-repair to ensure optimal performance and safetyProvide excellent customer service by effectively communicating with clients and supporting their equipment needsAccurately complete service records, maintenance logs, and work ordersFollow all health and safety protocols to maintain a safe work environmentREQUIREMENTS5 years of mechanical experience, ideally servicing a variety of heavy construction equipmentValid G-Class driver’s license with a clean or satisfactory driving recordFully equipped with a complete set of tools, or actively working toward itWilling to work overtime and participate in an on-call rotation as neededProficient with diagnostic software and modern repair toolsStrong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and mechanical componentsExcellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsClear communicator with solid verbal and written skills, and a customer-focused mindsetSelf-motivated and capable of working independentlyCommitted to high-quality workmanship and safety standards#J-18808-Ljbffr
