OverviewAs the Manager, People & Culture Business Partnership, you will lead our strategic partnership with our Merchandising and Footwear teams, directly supporting our Chief Merchandising Officer and General Manager of Footwear. You will drive business outcomes through the application of people programs and initiatives that align with our long-term business strategy.You will provide strategic guidance and expertise in organisational design, performance management, workforce planning, and change leadership to drive employee engagement and success at the individual, team, and business level.As a trusted coach and partner to the senior leaders in your portfolio, you will enable ongoing leadership development across the business through day-to-day partnership and guidance.This is a temporary role ending in October 2027 based out of our North Vancouver or Portland office. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada or United States.Meet Your Future TeamThe People & Culture Business Partner team operates in strategic partnership with the business, driving the continuous evolution of people and leadership practices and fostering a culture that generates high performance teams, strengths‐based coaching, and values-based leadership.You will help grow the P&C Business Partnership function within the Merchandising and Footwear portfolio.Core ResponsibilitiesPartnering with our leaders across the business and overseeing the creation and implementation of our people strategy in alignment with our long-term global business strategyProviding ongoing strategic guidance and coaching to the senior leadership teams across Merchandising and FootwearPartnering with Total Rewards to inform our evolving total rewards strategy based on business needs, and to ensure the successful implementation and communication of total rewards initiatives across your portfolioOverseeing the activation of our global performance framework in your portfolio, including performance management, talent assessment, and succession planningProviding strategic guidance on organisational design and structure, partnering with the leadership team to design high performing teams that will meet our evolving business needsDriving engagement, trust, and performance across the business through sound change leadership and day-to-day partnership with our peopleOverseeing our workforce planning process,



identifying gaps between our current and future competency requirements and ensuring we have a strategic people resourcing plan in place to meet long-term business objectivesOwning the headcount budgeting and forecasting process for your portfolioOperating as a key member of the P&C Business Partner leadership team and driving cross-functional P&C initiativesFuture ProjectsDeveloping cross-functional P&C projects from scratch and participating in business-wide projects that aim to solve organisational pain points in support of our people strategyGathering and analysing relevant people and business information to identify trends, using results to evolve existing P&C strategiesLeading cross-functional organisational design in partnership with senior business leadersQualificationsYou have a degree in Business and 5+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally within an apparel or retail business environmentYou have previous experience working for a global company and a proven ability to quickly build an understanding of a complex global business modelYou are great at influencing through strong relationships, expertise and data and can manage a complex group of stakeholdersYou are a natural leader, and you're not afraid to blaze a trail in uncharted territoryYou have a highly collaborative style, and a willingness and demonstrated ability to work in teams as both a lead and supporting team memberYou have the ability to coach, mentor, advise and where appropriate to help employees grow and develop in alignment with business and personal objectivesYou have robust project management skills with the ability to adapt to changing prioritiesYou have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to analyse data, assess people, understand trends, and develop prioritised recommendationsYou have excellent listening and communication skills with an ability to communicate large complex changeYou are comfortable rolling up your sleeves to get things done right and the next moment being part of highly complex strategic business discussionYou are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutionsYou remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguityYou are able to balance autonomy and collaborationYou inspire breakthrough thinking and continuous improvementYou seek the best (sometimes not the easiest) solutions, with an unwavering commitment to do what is rightYour passion for your work is paralleled by your passion for getting outside and living itCompensationThe salary range for this role is CAD $108,000 - CAD 142,000.Individual pay isdeterminedby your skills, experience, and level of responsibility.Total RewardsMost new team members join between the start and midpoint of the range, where you can contribute right away while continuing to grow your craft, your collaborations, and your impact at Arc'teryx.
