Rehabilitation Clerk (Temporary Part Time)Status:Temporary Part Time (6 Months)Department:Physio -Cc & Rehab Program, LHAPProgram:Healthy AgingSchedule:8 Hour Shifts, Days Schedule (Subject to Change)Location:Lakeridge Health Ajax-PickeringWage:$28.98 - $30.29 per hourResponsibilitiesScreen referrals for completeness, dictionary tasks, changes and edits in the Community Wide Scheduling (CWS) module.Schedule and pre‑register all scheduled patients in the admission module.Collaborate with the Patient Care Manager and Clinical Supervisor to determine prioritization using the prioritization tool.Ensure booking timelines and targets are met, including rescheduling patients as necessary.Handle billing and perform a wide range of clerical duties necessary for the productive functioning of the ARC.QualificationsMedical Office Administration Diploma or equivalent education and experience.Proven knowledge of medical terminology (tested).Proven knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel (basic level, tested).Keyboarding skills of at least 30 words per minute (tested).Clerical experience in an outpatient hospital setting preferred.Recent experience in a rehab or physiotherapy clinic is an asset.Experience with EPIC and the Community Wide Scheduling module (mandatory).Knowledge of the Meditech Admission module.Knowledge of booking/scheduling Rehabilitation procedures.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to foster good public relations and effective working relationships.Ability to work productively,
