The Project Development Officer (CLC) is responsible for building partnerships, strengthening community engagement, and coordinating initiatives across three schools. This role focuses on creating meaningful connections between schools, families, and community organizations while supporting student success and community vitality. The incumbent will plan and implement community-based projects, organize events, support family engagement, develop partnerships with external organizations, and coordinate communications and funding initiatives. Characteristic functions

Develop and maintain partnerships with community organizations, post-secondary institutions, and regional stakeholders Plan and coordinate inter-school activities that build connection and shared identity across three schools Organize community-building events for families, students, and staff Research and plan information awareness of community services by coordinating parent information sessions and community outreach initiatives and supports available to families Support grant writing, fundraising activities, and external funding applications In collaboration with all partners,



take responsibility to ensure regular communications strategies Develop and implement projects such as outdoor education, cultural activities, and multi-generational initiatives Ensure alignment of all initiatives with the school board strategic plan and individual school educational projects Implements, monitors, and reports on the annual action plan, tracking progress toward identified goals and benchmarks General Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Education, in a related field Experience in community development, partnership building, event coordination, fundraising, or grant writing considered an asset Robust communication skills Proficiency in both French and English (oral and written) Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and digital communication tools Ability to travel between school sites as required.
