We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Plate Roller/Brake Press Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating plate rolling machines and press brakes to shape and form metal components with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will ensure that products meet strict quality standards while adhering to safety protocols.

Duties

- Set up and operate plate roller machines and press brake equipment to bend, form, and shape metal sheets according to detailed blueprints and specifications
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics accurately to ensure exact fabrication
- Use hand tools, calipers, and measuring devices for quality inspection and dimensional verification of finished parts
- Adjust machine settings based on material type, thickness, and desired bend angles to optimize performance
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and safety checks on machinery to ensure smooth operation




- Collaborate with team members on assembly processes involving formed metal components
- Maintain detailed records of production runs, machine settings, and quality inspections for traceability

Experience

- Proven experience operating plate roller or brake press machines in a manufacturing setting
- Knowledge of welding techniques and basic math skills for precise measurements and calculations
- Ability to read blueprints accurately and interpret technical specifications
- Experience with hand tools, calipers, and quality inspection procedures in a manufacturing environment
- Mechanical aptitude with understanding of machine setup, calibration, and troubleshooting processes
- Prior exposure to forklift or crane operation is a plus but not required
