Position Summary

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Plumber / Appliance Installer to service Barrie, Innisfil, and surrounding areas.

This position combines professional residential appliance installation with plumbing-related work. Strong plumbing knowledge and hands-on plumbing experience are required.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently in customers’ homes and on construction sites, troubleshooting plumbing and installation issues, and completing jobs safely and professionally.

Key Responsibilities

- Install residential appliances, including refrigerators, dishwashers, ranges, wall ovens, cooktops, microwaves, washers, dryers, and hood fans
- Connect and install appliance water supply lines and drainage systems
- Diagnose and troubleshoot leaks, drainage issues, water connections, and other plumbing-related installation problems
- Complete minor plumbing adjustments or modifications required for proper appliance installation
- Disconnect and remove old appliances when required
- Inspect existing plumbing connections and identify issues before installation
- Connect electrical components related to standard appliance installations




- Perform hinge reversals and appliance panel installations where applicable
- Test installed appliances and plumbing connections to ensure proper operation and no leaks
- Identify and report site issues, including improper plumbing, electrical concerns, cabinetry misalignment, and millwork issues
- Complete required documentation, including job completion photos, service notes, and POI forms
- Communicate with office staff regarding job status, additional work, pricing adjustments, and site conditions
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
- Provide professional and respectful customer service
- Keep assigned jobs and updates accurate in the company CRM/mobile application

Qualifications
- Solid plumbing knowledge and practical plumbing experience — required
- Experience working with residential water supply and drainage systems
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing-related installation issues
- Appliance installation experience is strongly preferred
- Experience installing dishwashers, refrigerators with water connections, washers, and other water-connected appliances
- Experience installing high-end appliances such as Sub-Zero/Wolf/Cove, Gaggenau, Miele, Thermador, JennAir, Dacor, Fisher & Paykel, and Monogram is an asset
- Plumbing license/certification is an asset
- Gas license (G1 preferred; G2 is also a strong asset) — not required
- Ability to read installation manuals and manufacturer specifications
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable using mobile apps and digital job management systems
- Valid G Driver’s License with a clean driving record




- Must have own vehicle / reliable transportation for work
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs
- Working at Heights certification is an asset
- WHMIS certification is an asset

Compensation Competitive piece-rate / per-job compensation based on experience and scope of work.
