Job Overview

We're seeking an experienced Journeyman Plumber to deliver plumbing and mechanical scopes on institutional and commercial projects — often in active, occupied facilities. You'll report to senior management and help grow Bowfinn's plumbing capability with clients like universities, hospitals, and correctional facilities.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, repair, maintain, and inspect plumbing systems and fixtures per blueprints, specs, and code.
- Coordinate with other trades and abatement crews to keep work safe and clean on active sites.
- Ensure compliance with the BC Plumbing Code, municipal permitting, and WorkSafeBC regulations.
- Manage project timelines and materials; mentor apprentices; troubleshoot system issues.
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and inspectors; complete testing, documentation, and closeout reports.





Qualifications
- Red Seal or BC Journeyman Plumber Certificate of Qualification (required).
- 2+ years commercial/institutional plumbing experience, ideally on occupied sites.
- Strong knowledge of the BC Plumbing Code and WorkSafeBC protocols.
- Valid driver's license; able to travel within the Lower Mainland.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills; independent worker in a fast-paced environment.
