This role focuses on detailed mechanical design, CAD modeling, and documentation, along with practical knowledge of metal fabrication and CNC programming. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting the integration of HVAC systems into off‑highway vehicles, rail, or specialty mobile platforms.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop detailed 3D CAD models and 2D drawings of HVAC systems using SolidWorks based on engineering requirements and design conceptsSupport the design and development of HVAC systems for off‑highway transport vehicles, buses, trucks, and other specialty mobile platformsWork closely with engineering to implement system architecture, component selection, and design updatesSupport the assembly team by troubleshooting design‑related issues and ensuring design intent is achievedCollaborate with cross‑functional teams (sales, service, manufacturing) to ensure designs are practical, manufacturable, and serviceableAssist with heat load considerations,
