As a Research Associate at the Metrology Research Centre, you will collaborate with a dedicated team exploring original advancements in quantum sensing. This role is ideal for recent PhD graduates who excel in laboratory settings and seek to make impactful contributions in nanoscale detection and material characterization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct rigorous experiments in quantum optics and metrology
• Collaborate with peers to analyze and interpret data
• Report and disseminate scientific results effectively
• Participate actively in laboratory initiatives
• Support the development of quantum-enabled optical technologies
Requirements:
• Doctorate in physics, optics, or engineering physics
• Demonstrated experience in a scientific lab setting
• Background in quantum optics or nonlinear optics
• Solid analytical and communication competencies
• Programming experience is advantageous
