Pre-Construction Manager – ICI Construction

Location: Greater Toronto Area

Salary: $150,000–$170,000 + Bonus & Benefits

Our client, an established ICI general contractor, is seeking an experienced Pre-Construction Manager to lead projects through estimating, planning, design development, and procurement

.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the pre-construction process from prospect assessment through project handover
- Manage budgets, estimates, schedules, value engineering, and risk analysis
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal project teams
- Oversee tendering, scope reviews, and subcontractor selection
- Support proposals, presentations, and project pursuit strategies




- Ensure a smooth transition from pre-construction into project execution

Qualifications

- 8+ years of ICI construction experience
- Strong estimating or pre-construction background
- Experience with commercial, institutional, industrial, or mixed-use projects
- Excellent knowledge of construction costs, contracts, scheduling, and procurement
- Strong leadership, communication, and client-facing skills
