Responsibilities

- Assist with food preparation by chopping, slicing, measuring ingredients, and assembling dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Support cooking activities by preparing ingredients for chefs and ensuring timely delivery of prepared items
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and storing ingredients properly
- Follow food safety protocols diligently to ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of food items




- Help with restocking supplies and ingredients to keep the kitchen well-equipped for service
- Support serving staff by preparing garnishes or assisting with plating when needed
- Contribute to a positive team environment by communicating effectively and adhering to all health and safety regulations

Experience

- Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are most key
- Familiarity with basic food handling procedures and safety standards in a commercial kitchen setting
- Experience in meal preparation or cooking tasks is advantageous
- Knowledge of food industry best practices related to hygiene, sanitation, and safety protocols
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Prior kitchen experience or culinary training is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
