processing for payroll operations including preparing and posting daily cash receipts and deposits in PHARM (payment handling system), Esker (EP US) and the Oracle Fusion accounting systemVerifies remote deposits and incoming wire paymentsProcess daily payments and follow up with customer billing inquiriesSets up payment and manage payment terms new shows in PRIMEMonitors and tracks late payments in PHARM dailyAssist in managing credit and collection activitiesProduces aged receivable reports and makes collection calls as neededLogs and monitors payroll packages on holdPrepares refunds for Production companies when as requestedSetting up and uploading of NOC's daily and checking bank limitsResponds to customer requests regarding reports, invoice requests, stop payments and credit references as requiredPerform backup duties for the Banking SpecialistLiaises with CIBC Business Contact CentreAssists in month end reconciliations of Payroll GL accountsAssist the Supervisor, Accounts Receivable with GL journal entries and account reconciliationsAssists with special projects and other related duties as assigned by Finance Operations Manager and the VP FinanceProvide support to all members of the Finance team as requiredQualificationsMinimum 2 years related work experience in an accounting or banking environmentAbility to multi-task and prioritize issues in a high volume and fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detail,
