Principal Mechanical Engineering Leader – Health Sector

We are partnered with a leading global AEC firm that seeks a Principal Mechanical Engineering Leader to drive its Health Sector practice — leading major healthcare project delivery, growing client relationships, and mentoring teams as a seller-doer.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead engineering design and delivery for major healthcare projects.
- Grow revenue and client relationships regionally and across North America as a seller-doer.
- Lead business development pursuits, proposals, and strategic positioning.
- Mentor staff and represent the firm's brand at industry events and client engagements.

Capabilities and Credentials

- Recent healthcare project experience (e.g., Acute Care, Outpatient, Behavioral Health,



Cancer Care, Seniors Living).
- Robust technical grounding in mechanical systems for health facilities (HVAC, plumbing, medical gas, fire suppression).
- Proven business development track record, including pursuits, proposals, and contract negotiation.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team mentoring skills.

Education and Experience

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or equivalent).
- 15+ years in the AEC industry.
- Professional engineering license (P.Eng.)
- LEED AP, PMP, and HFDP certifications a plus.
