Job detailsLocation: 8918 128 Street suite 7 Surrey, BC V3V 5M7Work location: On the roadSalary: 36.60 hourly / 40 to 50 hours per weekTerms of employment: Permanent employment Full timeStarts as soon as possibleSource: Job Bank #3577043ResponsibilitiesDrive as part of a two-person team or convoyLoad and unload goodsObtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routesOperate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materialsOversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipmentPay and receive payments for goodsPerform brake adjustmentsPerform emergency roadside repairsPerform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehiclePerform preventive maintenanceReceive and relay information to central dispatchRecord cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumptionTarping and ensuring safety and security of cargoQualificationsDriver's License (Class 1 or A)Experience: Will train; International transportation/travel experienceDocumentation knowledge: Accident or incident reports, Bill of lading, Inspection report (pre-trip, en‑route, post-trip), Maintenance and repair reports, Trip reportsSecurity and safety:
