This role involves reporting to the Culinary Services Manager while showcasing your commitment to the well-being of our residents. You will prepare nutritious meals according to menu specifications, maintaining an engaging dining experience. Supervising Dietary Aides and ensuring kitchen cleanliness are crucial responsibilities that contribute to a protected dining setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create high-quality meals following menu guidelines
• Plate meals with attention to resident preferences
• Oversee cleanliness of kitchen equipment and workspaces




• Direct Dietary Aides during meal preparation and service
• Maintain kitchen records in absence of supervisors
Requirements:
• Valid food handling certificate from an accredited source
• Culinary qualification an asset but not mandatory
• Knowledge of therapeutic diets and food safety
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Clear health screenings needed prior to employment
