POSITION OVERVIEW

Sourcing of raw material is paramount to the success of our organisation. The incumbent will be responsible for all raw material and finished goods management. Working closely with the production and sales teams, you will ensure the company procures the best material at the most competitive prices, with a foresight into trends by country of origin and shifts in consumption. Your responsibility also includes freight management and all documentation for imported goods.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Procurement

- Prepare and manage annual procurement plan in line with company’s budget and monthly reviews.
- Administer the purchase order cycle:

o Generate Purchase Orders in ERP system. o Place orders with suppliers/ our offices globally o Update estimated time of arrivals on ERP/Excel Reports weekly.

o Revise the POs on weekly basis based on updated dispatching planning from suppliers.

o Liaise with warehouse and production planner on spot demand.

o Adhere to and excel at all service level commitments to sales on supply chain delivery.

o Ensure that new POs are generated based on updated marketing and sales figures.

o Monitor and supervise logistics and customs clearance.

- Ensure inventory level targets are maintained,



and excess stock is sold off in a timely and cost-efficient manner.
- Sourcing for new ingredients, materials, and services
- Review existing contracts and negotiate with external vendors and service providers to secure advantageous terms and cost benefit.

2. Forecasting and Reporting

- Foresee alterations and expect unfavourable events ahead of time, and ensure alternative suppliers are secured in a timely manner.
- Run MRPs using MS. Excel by obtaining sales and forecast information as well as pipeline supply from Power BI
- Use the demand and supply information on Power BI on weekly basis to understand the supply chain status of each raw material and packaging SKUs.
- Prepare supply planning of all SKUs annually, Quarterly, monthly, and weekly.

3. Inter-departmental Support

- Share with team on weekly basis, supplier and product availability, lead times, roadmaps for key materials, availability, seasonality, climate control and any factors that may impact the business and mitigating risks.
- Collaborate with key persons within the organisation revising procurement on monthly rolling basis in line with actual versus budgets, developments in listings and banners, seasonality trends and changes in planograms.
- Prepare reports on procurement cycle of all SKU weekly.
- Work with the warehouse on any inventory discrepancies and implement corrective action where needed.




- Manage Inventory on a proactive basis per sales and new listing information from sales team.
- Physical inventory checks for visual confirmation on items such as wraps or pallets.
- Monitor the sales figures on Power BI, Walmart to plan supply and to make recommendations for budget revisions.
- Coordinating courier packages for all samples.

Education, Experience, Skills, and Characteristics

Skills and Characteristics

- Legally eligible to work in Canada
- Strong skills with computers. Able to use MS Suite, ERP software, and learn new software as needed.
- Proven stakeholder management and problem‐solving skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Highly effective communication skills
- Highly ethical and excellent sense of integrity
- Team player
- Ability to manage suppliers and vendors.

Education and Experience

- Bachelor’s degree or diploma and minimum of 1 year of direct procurement experience required, preferably in FMCG
- Experience with brand plan development and execution

Salary Range: Between 55k- 65k Job Type: Full-time

Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Work Location: In-person - Richmond Hill, ON, Canada
