· You have working SQL skills and practical Python/pandas experience.

About the job
AutoShack needs a strong data analyst to help keep our product and vehicle data accurate. The work includes research, data verification, finding errors, comparing files and preparing clean data for our website, marketplaces and internal systems. Automotive catalogue experience is helpful, but we can train a robust analyst on our products and fitment process.
Required skills
· At least 2 years of professional experience in data analysis, data quality, research, reporting, systems or similar detail-heavy work.
· Advanced Excel,
including XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, PivotTables, formulas, duplicate checks, Power Query, data comparison and reconciliation.
· Working SQL and practical Python/pandas skills for reviewing, cleaning and comparing data.
· Comfort working with CSV, XML, JSON or other structured data.
· Strong research skills. You must be able to check sources, identify conflicting information and avoid guessing.
· High attention to detail and the ability to find the cause of a data problem, not just correct the visible error.
· Professional written and spoken English. Clear communication is a required part of this job.
· Good judgment using AI tools. AI can support research and analysis, but important information must be verified.
What you will do
· Research product, manufacturer and vehicle information.
· Compare information from different sources and identify missing, duplicate or conflicting data.
· Use Excel, SQL, Python and approved AI tools to clean, compare and verify data.
· Investigate product, fitment, return and catalogue issues and document the reason for changes.
· Prepare accurate product and catalogue updates for review and publishing.
· Check data before and after changes are published and investigate any problems.
· Build simple reports, checks and controls that help catch errors earlier.
· Write clear notes and procedures so another employee can understand and repeat the work.
· Work with e-commerce, purchasing, customer service, warehouse, IT and management as required.
· Complete other duties as assigned or required.
Helpful experience
Power BI, PIM/MDM, ERP systems, e-commerce catalogues, marketplace feeds, automotive parts, ACES/VCdb or fitment experience are assets, but are not required if your core data skills are strong.
Selection process
Selected candidates will complete a timed 35-45 minute TestGorilla assessment before an interview. It will cover Excel, data analysis, attention to detail, problem solving and written communication, with practical SQL/data questions. The assessment must be completed independently without AI, another person or outside assistance. Candidates who pass may be asked to complete a short live or onsite skills check.
Existing vacancy. AutoShack may use AI-assisted tools to support applicant screening and assessment. Final hiring decisions are made by AutoShack personnel.
