- Identify equipment or quality problems and help the team resolve them
- Assist with basic equipment troubleshooting and preventative maintenance

- Comfortable speaking up when something does not look right
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Able to stand for most of the shift and lift up to 23 kg/50 lb
- Willing and able to operate a forklift; training will be provided
- A valid driver’s licence
- Post-secondary education in food science, chemistry, manufacturing, engineering technology, supply chain or a related area is welcome but not required
What you’ll receive
- Starting wage of $19.00 per hour
- Higher starting compensation may be available based on relevant qualifications
- Wage growth up to $22.50 per hour as skills, responsibilities and the role expand
- Formal training and wage review after six months
- Paid hands-on training, including forklift training
- Cross-training in different areas of production
- A predictable full-time schedule
- Opportunities to develop toward equipment operation, quality control, production coordination or team-lead responsibilities
- A small-team environment where your work has a visible impact
