As part of our ongoing initiatives, we are seeking a dedicated educator for our Ready for School program.As an educator, you will play a crucial role in preparing program participants for a successful transition into the Ontario school system. This is a fixed‑term contract position, starting on August 4, 2026. The full‑day program runs Monday August 10, 2026, and ending on Friday August 21, 2026, with an orientation session on August 6, 2026 in the evening.You will be responsible for delivering the program's curriculum, assisting with the overall program activities, and ensuring a positive learning workplace for the participants.RESPONSIBILITIES:Collaborate with the team to develop and adapt the curriculum to align with program objectivesParticipate and assist in the orientation, training,



and onboarding of educatorsLead and facilitate all regular curriculum activities during the program periodMaintain accurate records of attendance and track hours worked for payroll purposesParticipate in field trips as requiredParticipate in program orientation and training as requiredREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree in education or a related field (or equivalent experience)OCT requiredPrevious experience working with children or educational programsStrong organizational skills and the ability to adapt and modify curriculum as neededExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with participants, parents, and team membersProficient in using Microsoft excel or similar software for tracking hoursCompensation and Benefits:Hourly rate: $45 per hour4% vacation pay on gross wagesPayment made semi-monthly, following JIAS Toronto's payroll practices, and subject to statutory deductions and withholdingsIf you are interested in applying for this position, please submit your cover letter and résumé to Careers at JIAS - JIAS Toronto.
