We are currently seeking an experienced and hands-on Production Manager to join our team in the aluminum composite panel manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day production, coordinating employees and resources, maintaining production schedules, managing materials and inventory, design and fabrication of sheet metal parts, and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards.

This is a full-time position suited to an organized, practical, and results-oriented individual with robust manufacturing experience and the ability to lead a production team in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee daily production activities and ensure projects are completed according to established schedules and deadlines.
- Plan, coordinate, and prioritize production runs based on project requirements, material availability, and shipping deadlines.
- Supervise production employees, assign work, monitor performance, and provide direction and support as required.
- Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, components, tooling, and finished products and coordinate replenishment when required.
- Work closely with procurement, project management, and logistics teams to ensure materials and resources are available when needed.
- Coordinate outgoing shipments and ensure completed work is properly prepared and ready for delivery.
- Monitor production quality and address issues that may affect project schedules, material usage, or finished product quality.
- Identify production bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and material issues and implement practical solutions.
- Oversee the proper operation, setup, and maintenance of production equipment and coordinate equipment repairs when necessary.




- Experience with CNC equipment and fabrication equipment is preferred. Experience with machine setup and operation of rollers, turret punches, shears, and press brakes, as well as tooling and machine maintenance, is an asset.
- Ensure production areas, equipment, and work practices comply with company safety policies and applicable workplace safety requirements.
- Promote a secure, clean, organized, and productive work setting.
- Maintain accurate production records, inventory records, schedules, and safety documentation.
- Use Microsoft Office and Excel and learn and utilize production-related software and systems.
- Communicate effectively with project management, office staff, suppliers, customers, installers, and other external partners as required.
- Train and assist employees in proper production procedures, equipment operation, quality standards, and safety practices.
- Monitor employee attendance and productivity and address performance or operational concerns with management.
- Assist management with improving production processes, workflow, equipment utilization, and overall operational efficiency.
- Perform other production and operational duties as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a production, manufacturing, or supervisory role, preferably in a metal fabrication, construction,



or building products environment.
- Previous experience supervising or leading production employees.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production scheduling, and workflow management.
- Hands-on experience with CNC and fabrication equipment.
- Experience with equipment such as rollers, turret punches, shears, and press brakes is an asset.
- Experience with design and fabrication of sheet metal components.
- Mechanical aptitude with an understanding of tooling, machine setup, and basic equipment maintenance.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with the ability to prioritize competing deadlines.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and Excel, with the ability to learn production-related software.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Safety-conscious with a proactive, team-oriented approach.
- Experience in the aluminum composite panel, sheet metal fabrication, construction, or building envelope industry is a significant asset.
- High school diploma required; additional education or training in manufacturing, production management, mechanical technology, logistics, or a related field is an asset.
