We’re looking for a Production Manager to join our High Prairie OSB Division, located in High Prairie, Alberta . Our mill has undergone an exciting major rebuild and modernization including the commissioning of a new continuous press making us one of the most up-to-date mills in North America . post-secondary education in Engineering, Wood Sciences , Manufacturing, or a related field is considered an asset. ~ Strong organizational, planning, problem-solving , and decision-making skills. ~ 3-5 years of manufacturing experience , preferably within wood products or a heavy industrial environment. ~ Experience leading teams in a production setting. ~ Continuous manufacturing and continuous press experience is considered an asset. ~ Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, and Word. Drive production performance, productivity, recovery, and quality results. Manage staffing, scheduling, and resources to meet production targets and budgets. Support continuous improvement initiatives and operational modernization efforts.
