Required Skills & Experience

1-3 years of experience in production planning, production scheduling, supply chain, manufacturing operations, or inventory planning

Understanding of the manufacturing lifecycle, from raw material planning through to finished product delivery

Experience prioritizing production activities and coordinating across multiple internal departments

Working knowledge of SAP in a manufacturing, production, or supply chain environment

Understanding of Bills of Material (BOMs)

Robust proficiency with Microsoft Excel

Bilingual French and English

Education in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Project Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience using Power BI for reporting and analytics

Aerospace manufacturing experience

Insight Global is seeking a Production Planner to join a top aerospace company in Longueuil, QC. This role is 5x week onsite for the day shift 6am-2pm.

The Production Planner will ensure material flow on the production line by optimizing the delivery output of parts manufactured at the manufacturing centre to meet the needs of both internal and external customers.



It is essential to prioritize and optimize the sequence of operations and parts, as well as to resolve issues that could hinder operations and deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze priorities for scheduling purposes

Plan production scheduling by evaluating machine capacity and priorities

Monitor and prioritize quality notifications

Track parts from release to production and monitor progress of priority parts; route parts to the correct customer (engine centers, aftermarket, experimental, NGPF)

Track part deliveries and communicate with internal and external customers

Initiate and support continuous improvement projects

Manage urgent requests based on customer requirements

Collaborate and communicate closely with industrial engineering, production, quality, procurement, and customer service teams

Effectively communicate and summarize risks to various stakeholders

Artificial intelligence tools are used to assist in screening and assessing applicants for this position.
