PRE Labs is expanding its Canadian manufacturing operations with a new facility in Ottawa, Ontario. Position Summary The Production Supervisor is responsible for the daily management of manufacturing activities within the Ottawa facility, ensuring products are produced safely, efficiently, on schedule, and in accordance with PRE Labs' quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

· Supervise daily manufacturing operations and production employees.

· Assign labour and coordinate daily production priorities.

· Monitor production output, productivity, quality, and delivery requirements.

· Train employees on manufacturing procedures, workmanship standards, and equipment.

· Ensure work instructions and production documentation are followed.

· Coordinate with Quality regarding inspections and non-conforming products.

· Maintain accurate production records.

· Identify production bottlenecks and recommend improvements.

· Ensure equipment and work areas are maintained appropriately.

· Promote a safe, organized, and professional workplace.





· Provide performance feedback and coaching to employees.

· Report production performance to the Plant Manager.

Qualifications

· 3-5 years of manufacturing experience.

· Previous supervisory or team-lead experience.

· Experience in textile, sewing, assembly, armour, or protective-equipment manufacturing is preferred.

· Strong organizational and people-management skills.

· Ability to read and follow technical specifications and work instructions.

· Strong attention to quality and detail.
