This is a full-time, permanent position.

Wage range is from $21 to $25 /hour based on experience.

Qualifications

- Genuinely passionate about food and knowledgeable about baking
- Good math and measuring skills
- Commercial baking experience in bread and/or pastry preparation
- Degree from a post-secondary culinary arts training program preferred

Job Requirements

- Available to work onsite at our location in Lac La Hache with a flexible work schedule including night shift and early mornings (2am – 4am)
- Ability to lift up to 25 kilos
- Ability to work in a high-paced setting for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, lifting and bending
- Skilled in the use of commercial baking equipment including a stand mixer, dough sheeter, bun divider and multi-deck steam oven.
- Experienced in dough preparation for bread, rolls and pastry
- Ability to shape loaves and buns, prepare pans and load and unload baked goods from the oven
