OverviewEaton’s Electrical sector is seeking a Site IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our Toronto facility. The salary range is $82,000–$102,000 per year, with benefits from day one.What You’ll DoProvide site support and ensure compliance with Eaton’s policies and procedures with minimal supervision. Manage day‑to‑day IT ownership for the site, maintain site health and customer experience, and lead regional improvement initiatives.Tools & TechnologyDeploy, configure and support hardware client operating systems and productivity software. Provide basic Office 365 training.Assist with mobile device setup and EUC tools.Support server rooms, including safety protocols, monitoring, and troubleshooting of servers, VMs and UPS systems.Maintain visitor management, access control and video surveillance systems.Deliver onsite and remote PC desktop support via BeyondTrust, manage virtual desktops, Zscaler, printers, peripherals and PC lifecycle.Troubleshoot LAN/WAN (including SD‑WAN), network security and OT environments. Support network security operations technologies and global connectivity.Manage on‑site cellular technology and femto‑cell support.Support OT systems by connecting industrial machines to the network.Deploy and troubleshoot VoIP, conference room tech, digital signage and call‑center connectivity.Create and maintain technical documentation to support knowledge sharing.Prioritize AI tools usage and identify automation opportunities.Process & ComplianceFollow IT Service Management processes (asset, change, incident, request, problem, and project management) to meet SLA goals.Maintain the annual IT disaster recovery plan and lead its walkthrough with stakeholders.Provide input on IT processes supporting manufacturing equipment.Lead the Inventory,



Risk Assessment & Profit Planning Process; influence budgeting, forecasting and spending for IT infrastructure.Participate in internal IT audits.Adhere to cybersecurity protocols, report suspicious activity, and apply foundational security principles.Follow Lean Daily Management practices (5S, RCA, Gemba) and maintain accurate ServiceNow records.Support disaster recovery planning, adhere to ITAR, CTD compliance and maintain cybersecurity fundamentals.Apply continuous improvement tools (EBS, RCA, CI) to enhance service delivery.People & LeadershipLead a small project technical team with minimal supervision.Coach and mentor new hires and support onboarding.Coordinate and manage vendor relationships for telecommunications.Resolve user issues independently, manage expectations and ensure high satisfaction.Build trusted partnerships with plant leadership and act as liaison between IT and business stakeholders.Perform additional duties as directed by leadership.On‑call as needed and travel up to 25%.Basic QualificationsAssociate degree + 3 years IT experience or high school diploma + 5 years IT experience.Minimum 5 years of relevant IT service delivery experience and experience with an IT ticketing system.Only candidates within an 80 km radius of Toronto,



ON will be considered.Legally authorized to work in Canada without future sponsorship.Preferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree in IT from an accredited institution.ITIL Foundations certification.CompTIA A+ certification.Technical KnowledgeIntermediate knowledge of MS Windows OS, MS Office Suites, hardware devices, OT systems, and other IT infrastructure.Experience with network, servers, storage, phone systems and manufacturing equipment.IT Service Management (ITIL) knowledge in asset, incident, request, problem and change management.Ability to lead IT initiatives across the organization.Soft SkillsExcellent customer service and communication skills.Ability to relate at all levels of the organization.Mentoring and instructional guidance for customers.Strong leadership, problem‑solving, time management and adaptability.Learning agility and data‑driven decision making.Equal Employment Opportunity StatementWe are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for job applicants and employees.
