This position is being offered as a 12-month fixed-term contract chance with GDLS-C. The hiring range for this position is $28.00-$35.00.Key Job ElementsCreate solid models, layouts and associative assembly and detail drawings from sketches, notes or direction from senior designers or Project Engineers to stringent industry, company and military standardsDesign mobile defense subsystems with minimal supervision utilizing NX CAD software integrated to the Teamcenter databasePerform design calculations and trade-off studies as requiredIncorporate engineering change requests into existing Technical Data PackagePerform dynamic motion and interference analysesSupport Bid and Proposal activities by determining scope of work and preparing labour estimates,



preparation of Basis of Estimates (BOE).May be required to assist in the development of departmental processes, standards and related documentationMay be required to provide system-level CAD model/product structure support and administer working files for multiple design teamsMay be required to develop standard parts and integrate these parts into the Teamcenter Classification databaseRequired QualificationsUniversity degree or college diploma in Electrical or Mechanical fieldMechanical design experience utilizing CAD toolsExperience with NX CAD software in modeling, drafting and advanced assemblies (including experience received through school as applicable)Strong knowledge of the application and interpretation of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) from piece parts to complex assembliesStrong knowledge of drawing practices and standardsDemonstrated strength in MS Office applicationsPreferred QualificationsExperience with typical defense and/or mobile equipment standards (e.G.
