Bennett Construction Group is looking for a Project Coordinator to join our project team and support the delivery of complex water and wastewater construction projects.

This is a hands-on construction role. You will work directly with Project Managers, Superintendents and field teams to help coordinate heavy civil, mechanical and process work from construction through commissioning and closeout.

We are looking for someone who is organized, technically minded and comfortable taking ownership. You don't need to know everything on day one, but you need to be willing to learn, ask questions and understand how the work actually gets built.

For the right person, this is a role with room to grow. Our goal is to develop strong Project Coordinators into people who can take on increasing responsibility, manage smaller projects and ultimately progress into Project Management.

What You'll Do

- Work closely with the Project Manager and Superintendent to coordinate day-to-day project activities.
- Help manage project schedules, materials, equipment, subcontractors and suppliers.
- Track project costs, progress, changes and forecasts.
- Manage RFIs, RFQs, shop drawings, submittals, change orders and other project documentation.
- Maintain clear and accurate daily records, photographs and project files.
- Review drawings and specifications and develop a strong understanding of the project scope.
- Assist with field coordination, basic layout and field engineering.
- Prepare sketches, markups and as-built drawings.
- Support equipment and system commissioning activities.
- Coordinate deficiencies, turnover documentation, O&M; manuals, warranties and project closeout.
- Assist with site inspections, documentation and requirements under Bennett's Health and Safety Program.
- Work directly with owners, consultants,



subcontractors and suppliers to keep information and work moving.
- Give the Project Manager and Superintendent accurate, current information on the status of the project.

What We're Looking For
- Degree or diploma in engineering, construction management, construction technology or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- A practical approach to solving problems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable working both in the office and on active construction sites.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Experience with Bluebeam Revu, AutoCAD and Microsoft Project is an asset.
- Valid driver's licence.
- A willingness to learn and take on increasing responsibility.

Nice to Have Experience with any of the following would be an advantage:
- General contracting or construction project coordination.
- Water and wastewater infrastructure.
- Mechanical and process piping systems.
- Heavy civil construction.
- Equipment installation and commissioning.
- Reading construction drawings and specifications.

Pay: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
