The Person We Are Looking For

We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer who is open-minded and flexible, and interested in learning the way we do business. While the role is adaptable to the needs of the team, the focus will be on providing high-value technical project management to our clients and internal team.

You are a self-starter who appreciates autonomy in carrying out your work, while also enjoying the collaboration and resources available through our Toronto Central Office. You are practical, organized, and comfortable taking ownership. You understand your limitations, know when to involve others, and are open to asking for and accepting support when needed.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential. Our clients include contractors and developers across Canada, and listening carefully to project team members both internally and externally is key to delivering the services and support they require.

As a Project Engineer at Isherwood, you will work on a wide variety of geostructural projects across Toronto, the GTA, and Canada.

Responsibilities

- Lead and support geostructural engineering projects from initiation through completion
- Assist with the design and delivery of geostructural engineering projects, working closely with senior engineers and project teams
- Support the preparation and review of design calculations, drawings, reports, and technical specifications
- Coordinate internal and external project stakeholders, including engineers,



CAD specialists, field staff, contractors, clients, and consultants
- Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, deliverables, and invoicing requirements
- Identify project risks early and help develop practical solutions
- Provide responsive, high-quality service to clients and project teams
- Support a positive, collaborative, and professional Central Office environment

About You

- You have approximately six or more years of project management experience
- You are a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Canada
- You have experience working within the Canadian construction and regulatory environment
- You have a valid driver’s licence and reliable access to a vehicle for site visits
- You appreciate great design and enjoy solving complex problems
- You are down to earth, versatile, practical, and a natural collaborator
- You have excellent communication skills and enjoy giving good service
- You are a “people person” who values trust, respect, and strong working relationships
- You are adaptable, accountable, self-aware, and optimistic
