K‑1).Prepare XML filings.Ensure FATCA/CRS reporting is completed with the CRA before deadlines.Review and enter tax factors for securities and client or securities transactions in the tax system.Update and reconcile year‑end tax records.Review securities to determine most appropriate type for correct tax slip reporting.Review corporate actions to determine US and/or Canadian tax applicability.Track work completed and any errors found.Identify and propose process improvement opportunities.Collaborate with team members or other departments on mini projects.Perform other ad hoc duties and projects as assigned.QualificationsPost‑secondary education, preferably in Finance, Economics or related field.Prior work experience in a tax reporting role focused on Canadian and/or US tax reporting to clients.At least 2 years in an operational, continuous improvement or client service role within a financial services organization.Experience with client or securities taxation.Knowledge of the securities industry.Experience with Broadridge systems.Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets.Experience with Qualified Intermediary obligations.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Detail‑oriented, self‑motivated, capable of working independently with little supervision.Strong analytical skills for managing large data sets.Excellent organizational skills.Strong work ethic, result‑focused, and deadline driven.Strong research and problem‑solving skills.Continuous improvement mindset and a desire to bring improvements.Team-oriented team player, flexible, and customer‑service oriented.Compensation InformationBase salary range: $60,000 – $65,000.Final compensation package commensurate with experience, skills, and geographic location (Canada), including a comprehensive benefits plan and a competitive bonus program for full‑time permanent roles.#J-18808-Ljbffr
