Our client, a mining organization, is seeking a Project Procurement Analyst to support the sourcing and procurement of materials, equipment, services, and construction-related requirements for both capital and sustaining capital projects.

The Project Procurement Analyst will be responsible for managing the full procurement lifecycle for projects, including developing procurement strategies and plans, issuing RFQs and RFPs, conducting technical and commercial evaluations, preparing bid analysis, negotiating with suppliers and contractors, awarding contracts, managing change orders and amendments, and ensuring the timely delivery of critical materials and services. Working closely with Engineering, Project Managers, Construction, Operations, Maintenance, and external vendors, you will ensure procurement activities align with project schedules, technical specifications, budgets, and operational requirements.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of hands-on project procurement experience, preferably within mining, heavy industrial,



construction, infrastructure, manufacturing, or energy environments. Candidates must have direct experience leading procurement activities for capital projects, including sourcing materials, equipment, and services that support major construction, expansion, maintenance, and sustaining capital initiatives. A solid procurement background is essential, with the ability to conduct detailed cost analysis, commercial evaluations, supplier negotiations, and contract administration to support effective purchasing decisions.

Experience managing complex RFQ/RFP processes, evaluating supplier proposals, driving cost savings, mitigating supply chain risks, and achieving the lowest total cost of ownership (TCO) is highly desirable.
