The Property Operations Supervisor is responsible for managing the daily operations of multiple residential properties owned and/or managed by CLV Group, ensuring properties are safe, well-maintained, and operated efficiently.
Responsibilities will include, at a minimum:
- Overseeing daily property operations, maintenance, cleanliness, safety, and overall building condition;
- Conducting regular inspections to identify deficiencies, safety concerns, and required repairs;
- Coordinating preventative maintenance and repairs to building systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, elevators, fire protection, and security systems;
- Managing and supervising work performed by in-house maintenance staff and outside contractors;
- Coordinating contractors and vendors for repairs, inspections, maintenance, and building improvement projects;
- Working closely with Property Managers to address operational and resident concerns;
- Ensuring properties comply with applicable building codes, regulations, and health and safety requirements;
- Reviewing quotations, invoices, and project costs while supporting operating and capital budgets;
- Responding to building emergencies and coordinating appropriate resources when required; and
- Performing all other duties as requested.
Must Haves
- 3+ years of experience in property operations, facilities management, residential property management, or a similar role;
- Experience with general residential construction and building repairs;
- Strong knowledge of building maintenance and mechanical systems;
- Experience supervising employees and managing contractors;
- Excellent organizational, time management, communication, and problem-solving skills;
- Ability to manage multiple properties, projects, and priorities in a fast-paced workplace;
- Proficiency with MS Office;
- Knowledge of Yardi property management software is considered an asset;
- Familiarity with applicable residential tenancy legislation is considered an asset; and
- English and French communication skills are considered a strong asset.
More Information
- Must have a valid driver’s licence and own vehicle,
- Must be able to travel between properties as required;
- Must be available to respond to emergencies during normal operating hours; and
- Participation in an after-hours rotational emergency response team may be required
