and prevented from regressingCollaborate closely with Engineering to integrate testing into CI/CD pipelinesDrive continuous improvement of test processes without introducing unnecessary bureaucracyProvide clear quality signals to leadership around release readiness and riskAct as a Quality advocate while remaining pragmatic about trade‑offs and timelinesWho You Are (Basic Qualifications)5+ years of experience in QA leadership or management rolesExperience in software testing, ideally in complex or real‑time systems (e.G. video games, embedded systems, industrial software)Experience testing systems involving hardware and low‑level software (embedded Linux, firmware, drivers, or similar)Experience managing test plans, test cases, and defect tracking in modern toolsWhat Will Put You AheadExcellent communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate quality risks and trade‑offsBackground in game testing or other fast‑paced, high‑complexity QA environmentsExperience in front‑line technical support or customer‑facing engineering rolesFamiliarity with Linux‑based systems and debugging at the system levelExperience implementing and scaling automated testing frameworks and CI/CDGeneral Salary RangeFor this role, we anticipate paying $120,000 to $180,000 per year commensurate to your level of expected contributions.
