OverviewWe are looking for a skilled Network Cloud Engineer to design, deploy, and support contemporary data center and cloud networking environments. The role focuses on building and operating scalable Spine-Leaf EVPN infrastructures and supporting cloud-integrated network services. Experience with Linux, OpenStack, and automation tools is considered a strong asset but not a core requirement.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and support Spine-Leaf EVPN data center network architectures.Manage and troubleshoot Layer 2/Layer 3 networking, including BGP, VXLAN, and EVPN.Support cloud-connected network environments and hybrid infrastructure.Monitor network performance, capacity, and availability across environments.Perform incident response, root cause analysis, and problem resolution.Work with cross-functional teams to support infrastructure deployments and changes.Maintain accurate network documentation, diagrams, and operational procedures.Follow best practices for security, reliability, and change management.Required Skills & QualificationsStrong networking knowledge (L2/L3, TCP/IP, BGP, VXLAN, EVPN, Spine-Leaf architecture).Hands-on experience operating and troubleshooting enterprise or data center networks.Experience with cloud networking concepts and hybrid connectivity.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.Ability to work independently and within a team in a production environment.Good to Have (Nice to Have)Experience with Ansible or Terraform.Basic Python scripting skills.Familiarity with Git and CI/CD workflows.Linux administration experience.Experience with OpenStack environments.Exposure to infrastructure automation or Infrastructure as Code (IaC).Experience with large-scale data center environments or service provider networks.The Canada base salary range for this full-time position is expected to be between $92,300 - $112,800 annually. Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labour market, job type, and job level.
