Position: Public Sector Procurement Specialist
Type: Hourly Contract
Compensation: $80–$120/hour

About the Opportunity
This opportunity is for experienced Public Sector Procurement Specialists, Contract Managers, and Government Purchasing Professionals to contribute to advanced AI research and evaluation projects.
You'll apply your expertise to develop realistic government procurement scenarios, evaluate AI-generated procurement strategies and documentation, and create structured evaluation frameworks reflecting real-world public sector purchasing standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop realistic public sector procurement scenarios involving solicitations, bids, contracts, vendor selection, and compliance.
- Evaluate AI-generated RFPs, RFQs, procurement plans, proposals, and contract documentation.
- Assess procurement workflows for accuracy, compliance, transparency, and value for money.
- Create structured evaluation rubrics that reflect qualified procurement judgment.
- Analyze vendor qualifications, bids, pricing, contract terms, and procurement risks.
- Provide clear written feedback to improve AI-generated procurement outputs.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in public sector procurement, government contracting, purchasing,
or contract management.
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, competitive bidding, solicitation, vendor evaluation, and contract administration.
- Experience working with government agencies or public sector organizations.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with federal, state, or local government procurement.
- Familiarity with FAR/DFARS, public procurement regulations, or government contracting standards.
- Experience with ERP, e-procurement, contract management, or vendor management systems.
- Professional certifications such as CPSM, NIGP-CPP, or CPCM are a plus.
- Familiarity with AI evaluation, machine learning, or data annotation is a plus.
Compensation
- Competitive compensation of $80–$120/hour.
