An Industrial supplier company in Woodstock, ON is currently seeking for a Purchasing Coordinator to join their team. Ideal candidate will have 1~2 years of production/manufacturing industry purchasing/Procurement experience. This is a full time, permanent and comes with great benefit package.

Responsibilities of Purchasing Coordinator:

- Analyze the market price of the materials from different suppliers based on quality-level and shipping costs etc.
- Maintain communications along with other departments regarding order specifications and prevent for possible damage/ loss/ delay/ complaint from customers.
- Analyze present and past order progress reports and make suggestions to prevent any delays/ issues with orders.
- Create and update purchasing documents
- Create RFQs, send to suppliers for pricing, analyze and compare returned RFQs from different suppliers, provide feedback to suppliers
- Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications of Purchasing Coordinator ;

- At least 1~2+ year of experience in supply chain coordination, purchasing at manufacturing or industrial supplier industry
- Associate degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Marketing, Communication and related field preferred
- Strong negotiation skill
- No travel restriction to US facility
- Experience with ERP software – MS Dynamics, SAP, AS400 etc. is a big plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel




- Ability to be flexible to work effectively with a wide variety of people and to work responsibly and effectively in a multicultural environment
- Ability to multi-task and perform duties time efficiently
- Team-worker, Detail-oriented, Responsible, Punctual, Self-motivated
