Full Description

Hiredbuddy is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to join our remote team. As an entry-level QA Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, functionality, and user experience of our software products. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and designers to identify issues, define test cases, and maintain high-quality standards across our platform.

In this role, you will be responsible for executing manual test scripts, documenting defects, and verifying fixes. You will also participate in test planning, contribute to regression testing, and help improve our QA processes. We value a proactive mindset and a willingness to learn; you will receive mentorship from experienced QA engineers and have access to training resources to grow your skills.

Your day-to-day activities will include analyzing requirements, creating test cases, performing functional, integration, and usability testing, and providing clear feedback to the development team. You will use industry-standard tools like Jira for bug tracking and test management, and you will learn to work with automation frameworks as you progress.

Requirements

- 0-2 years of experience in software quality assurance or related field
- Basic understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools like Jira or similar
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, or JavaScript is a plus
- Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium) is a bonus but not required
