Position Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Systems Testing / QA Specialist to support the testing and quality assurance of large, complex business-critical applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing testing strategies, planning and executing various levels of testing, developing automated test scripts, validating data, investigating defects, and supporting SIT, SAT, and UAT activities.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in manual and automated testing, API and web application testing, database/data warehouse testing, performance testing, accessibility testing, and Agile/Waterfall methodologies .
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and provide recommendations on test strategies, test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test data .
- Plan, organize, and execute testing activities for large-scale systems across GUI and non-GUI environments .
- Execute functional, integration, system, regression, SIT, SAT, UAT, performance, load, and stress testing .
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts for web applications, Windows services, Web APIs, and data warehouse systems .
- Perform API testing and automation using tools such as Postman, Thunder Client, Swagger, and similar tools .
- Develop automation using tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Micro Focus/OpenText UFT (QTP), TestComplete, and LoadRunner .
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines .
- Create and execute complex SQL queries and scripts for database validation, backend testing, data integrity, and data warehouse testing.
- Perform data migration, transformation, reconciliation, and validation testing where required.
- Identify, document, investigate, and track software defects using HP Quality Center/ALM, JIRA, Bugzilla, Azure DevOps, TFS, or similar tools .
- Work closely with developers, Business Analysts, Project Managers, Testing Leads, and IT Leads to reproduce, investigate, and resolve defects.
- Investigate production issues, perform root-cause analysis ,
and provide recommendations for resolution.
- Develop and execute performance, load, and stress test scripts using tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner and analyze system performance and scalability.
- Perform accessibility testing for web applications in accordance with AODA/WCAG 2.0 AA standards.
- Experience with accessibility testing tools such as JAWS, NVDA, and Accessibility/Compliance testing tools is preferred.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
- Maintain detailed documentation covering test results, test coverage, defects, test metrics, and quality status .
- Support preparation of user manuals, release notes, and other project documentation.
- Ensure testing activities comply with applicable QA standards, methodologies, accessibility requirements, and regulatory standards .
- Collaborate across multiple teams and client organizations while managing competing priorities and meeting project deadlines.
Required Technical Skills Testing & QA
- Extensive experience developing test strategies, test plans, test cases, test scripts, scenarios, and test data .

Database & Data Warehouse Testing
- Strong SQL and database testing experience.
- Ability to create complex SQL scripts for backend validation.
- Experience with data warehouse testing, XML, data migration, data transformation, and data integrity validation .
- Experience validating data across multiple system components and databases.
