During the shift, you must be able to drive between two plants within Kingston (5km each way) as required. Mileage is eligible for reimbursement.

Must be able to work 7am to 3:30pm or the 3:30pm to 12am shift as assigned.

Position Summary

Our quality control technicians inspect and report on manfacturing processes and completed HVAC components in compliance with ISO 9001 quality standards.

Duties

1. Inspection of incoming materials.
2. Process audit on all work stations.
3. Perform pre-shipment checks.
4. Handling and reporting of returned goods (RMA).
5. Prepare trend analysis of quality issues.

a. Leak Data analysis b. Copper and Aluminum scrap analysis
1. Write non-conformance reports.
2. Follow up on the recommended corrective actions and report to management.
3. Participate annually in the ISO audit to ensure company wide compliance.
4. Participate in the annual review of ISO policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.
5. Calibration of measuring instruments.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Education

- Minimum two year diploma in Mechanical/Industrial field

Experience

- A minimum 2 years experience in a manufacturing facility.
- Practical knowledge to ISO 9001:



2015 is required.
- Experience in Manufacturing and Fabrication is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English

Skills

- Knowledge of quality assurance strategies
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, listening);
- Excellent working knowledge of MS Office.
- Able to read Sheet Metal drawings
