Become a key player in conservation as a Resource Management Technician with Manitoba’s government. Experience hands-on resource management and wildlife interaction in The Pas, Lynn Lake, or Leaf Rapids.

We are looking for dedicated individuals eager to support Conservation Officers in resource management and conflict resolution roles. This position involves both fieldwork and administrative duties, operating equipment, and assisting in wildlife patrols. Solid communication abilities and independent work skills are essential to excel in this position.

Key Responsibilities:



• Collaborate with Conservation Officers on resource management • Manage district infrastructure and equipment maintenance • Engage with human-wildlife conflict scenarios • Participate in seasonal patrols using various vehicles • Make decisions under pressure to ensure safety

Requirements: • Proven ability to operate district equipment and vehicles • Experience in remote area travel • Knowledge of firearm safety and operation • Capability in mechanical repairs and maintenance tasks • Willingness to work as part of a dedicated team
