Cerelia Bakery Canada (Formerly English Bay Batter), an international company located in Mississauga, ON, is seeking an IT Support Specialist.The IT Support Specialist will provide technical support to internal and remote users, prioritizing and escalating helpdesk requests, troubleshooting network and hardware issues, configuring new software, and overseeing application updates.ResponsibilitiesProvide user‑level technical support for computers, printers, and other hardware.Provide user‑level support for system applications and other relevant software.Set up and maintain user accounts and mailboxes.Diagnose and quickly resolve a wide range of Windows applications and networking problems to minimize downtime.Provide user‑level training on daily applications including MS Office.Assist with procurement, inventory, and implementation of new computer equipment and technologies.Monitor printers, copiers, and fax machines to ensure proper function and maintenance.Maintain user access rights and logs for network access, onboarding current employees, and removing inactive employees.Set up IT equipment and computer web meetings for company meetings, events, and lunch & learn presentations.Document systems and processes, including the creation and documentation of IT systems and networks.Check various logs (backup, etc.)
