TLNT Bridge Recruiting is working with a growing technology company to find a

Senior QA Automation Engineer

with strong hands‑on experience building automated tests for modern web applications. This is primarily a

frontend/UI automation role , with a strong emphasis on

Playwright and TypeScript . You will work closely with software engineers, product teams, and other QA professionals to build reliable automated testing into the software development lifecycle. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys automation, understands how modern web applications are built, and can think beyond simply executing test cases. You should be comfortable identifying risk, determining what should be automated, and building maintainable test coverage that gives engineering teams confidence in every release. What You'll Do

Design, build, maintain, and improve automated test suites for modern web applications. Develop

end-to-end (E2E) UI automation using Playwright and TypeScript and/or C# . Test React-based applications and other modern frontend technologies. Develop automated regression coverage based on product and technical risk. Work closely with developers to identify defects, investigate root causes, and improve overall product quality. Integrate automated testing into

CI/CD pipelines , including GitLab. Perform API testing and validate integrations with external systems. Participate throughout the software development lifecycle rather than treating QA as a final step before release. Work within cloud-based development and testing environments, including AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes. Contribute to Agile/Scrum ceremonies, planning, refinement,



and retrospectives. Continuously improve QA processes, automation frameworks, and testing practices. Use AI-assisted development tools such as

Cursor

to accelerate test development, generate test scenarios, analyze defects, and improve automation code. What We'r Looking Fo

8+ years of professional QA/software testing experience , with significant hands‑on automation experience. Strong experience with

Playwright . Strong programming/scripting experience with

TypeScript and/or C# . Experience building and maintaining

UI/E2E automation frameworks . Experience testing modern web applications, ideally

React-based applications . Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, automation strategy, and regression testing. Experience integrating automated tests into

CI/CD pipelines . Hands‑on experience with

API testing

and third‑party/external system integrations. Ability to think critically about test coverage and prioritize testing based on risk. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders. Comfortable working in an Agile/Scrum environment. Nice to Have

Experience with

AWS . Experience with

Docker and/or Kubernetes . Experience with GitLab CI/CD. Experience with BDD frameworks. Experience with performance testing. Experience using AI coding and development tools such as

Cursor

$75,000–$90,000 CAD annually , depending on experience, plus a quarterly bonus. The maximum base salary for this position is $90,000 CAD.
